In between hot days in Spain (38°C) with work and perfect Swedish summer (25°C) at home it seemed like the perfect conditions to spend a rainy weekend in Hamburg. It was actually quite refreshing, though. Was not the first time for me but certainly the first time I did an evening harbour cruise and it was pretty impressive to pass by all those massive container ships so close.

Most of the days were obviously spend strolling through the city, eating good food and enjoying the time with my family.

AND of course I tried something weird local to eat. In the case of Hamburg it had to be Labskaus. It’s corned beef and potatoes topped with pickles, beetroot, fried egg topped with soused herring. Let’s say it was a one-time only experience.
