Generally, I would say that most housing projects in Sweden lack creativity as most new built places look alike. At least in Stockholm I am still looking for an area that proofs me otherwise. In Malmö, though, it seems like the city planner came up with something really smart and innovative. The new housing area around the famous Turning Torso at Västra Hamnen (Western Harbour) is a beautifully arranged assembly of row houses. Every house has a different touch and colour and everything is designed in a way that it seems like the houses and their small green gardens naturally align with the canals and the open sea. Really worth a look if you are interested in architecture.

Also you get a beautiful view on the Öresund bridge connecting Sweden with Denmark. As a side-note if you get a chance watch the Danish-Swedish TV show The bridge (original Bron) which is narrating around this bridge.
